The
Central Upper Peninsula Chapter serves Marquette and Alger Counties
of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan The Chapter is centrally
located. The Red Cross is NOT a government agency; all Red
Cross assistance is given free of charge, made possible by the generous
contribution of people's time, money, and skills.
Alger
County Recently organized its area volunteers, and is now holding
regular training and meeting sessions to coordinate the formation
of an active Disaster Action Team. Meetings are currently held in
the Conference room of the Alger County Courthouse, unless specifically
noted otherwise.
